As a starting point, we will make sure you understand how the POST consortium operates and are aware of the acoustic infrastructure already available. Then we will assist you to design your study. We can help with the design and operation of arrays to ensure that the performance reaches the high standards.

• Receivers: location and design of additional sub-arrays (formed as lines, grids, and single sensors), receiver depth and spacing, methods for data harvesting.
• Tags: transmission intervals, appropriate size for species, transmission power, expected lifetimes, range of sensors available.
